Strong Spirit Aboriginal Services will be hosting five face-to-face Indigenous women in business networking events. These events are for women with businesses located across the Hastings Region on Birpai Country.
Strong Spirit Aboriginal Services will be providing one-on-one mentoring support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women operating a business located in the Hastings region. Mentoring will include areas of; business planning and guidance to produce business plans, proposals, presentations, and pitches; business advisory and business support; business development strategies and early-stage business growth strategies; business coaching and mentoring
Strong Spirit Aboriginal Services will be delivering an introduction to business program for young Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander girls who are attending high school in the Hastings region.
The Ironbark program is a healthy ageing exercise program designed for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people aged 45 years and older to meet weekly for group exercises that caters for all fitness levels, to build strength & mobility. This program is delivered in partnership with Phyxyou Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation and funded by UNSW & The George Institute as part of a healthy ageing study.
