“Our Vote. Our Future. It’s the first time more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are enrolled to vote than ever before. This brings our percentage to 84.5% nationally, and in NSW alone we sit at 91.3 which is not bad, but more work needs to be done as AEC have identified around 15,988 of our mob not enrolled yet.
To have your say in local, state and federal elections as well as any future referendums, it is important to enrol to vote.
Enrolling to vote is really important. Being enrolled means you have the right to vote for who represents you in government. If you are not enrolled you are unable to vote in local, State and federal elections.
Enolling to vote is a simple process. If you have any difficulties please contact Strong Spirit for support
Your vote is important, to have your say enrol today
There will be many voting staff there on the day to walk you through the voting process, this will make the process fast and simple
You can work on election day & get paid for it. No election experience is required, AEC will train, prepare and support you in your election role.
